Senior Experts in Parliament’s outreach service to hold public seminar

A free Public Bill Seminar is being held in Norwich on Thursday  19th 2014 at The Forum Millenium Plain.
The aim is for individuals and groups to find out how to engage Parliament’s scrutiny of legislation. It will be chaired by Senior Expert Witness Professor Alan Finlayson of the School of Political Social and International  Studies of the University of East Anglia.
Speakers at the seminar will include parliamentarians and experts from the House of Commons and the House of Lords. There will also be staff on hand  to answer  any questions  on the parliamentary  scrutiny of a bill.
The seminar will cover how a bill becomes an Act, how MP’S and public scrutiny legislation, how you submit expert evidence to public bill committees and how select committees  work. Contact 020 7219 1650
